GamerFitNations Presents Ms. Dianna Lora aka Gripants as True Gamer of the week.

GamerFitNation is fantastic. I can’t think of anywhere that specifically tailors to the gamer. It’s important that we, as gamers, educate ourselves when it comes to our health. - Dianna
Gripants tells GFN about herself. She enjoys Cooking. Reading. Singing. Acting. Producing. Comics. I have no problem making an ass of myself at the expense of a good laugh. I can be terribly silly and kind of shy. Anime. Tech. I like nerds and the color pink. She owns Xbox 360, Xbox, PC, PS2, PS1, Genesis, Wii, Super Nintendo, Nintendo, Gameboy SP, and DS Lite. She is a true gamer in my book! Pigs in Space for the Atari 2600 is the game that sparked Gripants’ interest in gaming.
A little more into the world of Gripants. : I have a crazy busy schedule but as much as possible sprint up some stairs or run home when I’m not wearing heels. I started up on P90X and I go to Martial Arts 2/3 times a week.
I’m a big foodie! Love to eat simply because I love the taste of all different types of food. I’m on a huge Ramen and Pho kick. Soooo good! French Fries are my weakness… >_> don’t tell anyone. Now that I’m on a hard core workout regimen, I really have to be mindful of what I eat! I’m working on eating right and I’m looking to tighten and tone a couple of spots—but not too much! I’m a curvy chica and I love it! I’ve changed my diet a bit. I’ve spread out my meals and eat every three hours to get my metabolism going.
It’s important to take care of ones self as much as possible. We’re bombarded with ads that encourage us to eat crap — don’t get me wrong, the crap tastes amazing. Because, let’s be honest, it’s easier to order a pizza or nachos, than it is to get up and make yourself something after a long gaming session or a hard day of work. I totally get it. But, after a while, we all have to take responsibility for ourselves and our bodies. I don’t know about you, but I still want to be around when the “XBox 3600” and the “PS16” are still around!
Gripants has wonderful advice to gamers struggling with their weight. : Love who you are no matter what you look like. Get in shape because YOU want to. Not because of social pressures. Have a workout buddy that can be there when you need them. More importantly, START SMALL! It’s always hard getting in the groove of improving ones health. But if you start small, you’ll realize that all those small parts added up to something big. Starting small could be doing as many push ups as you can between load screens or commercials. Something as simple as that could add up after a while!
Motion Technology? : I think with the invention of the Kinect and Move, the industry is realizing that it’s important to get people up and moving. I read a couple of months ago that an estimated 30% of children in the US are overweight /obese!
I’m the Marketing & Business Development chica for Gamer Reaction. We’re a show, podcast, and website that focus’ on video games and getting the reviews of games from gamers’ mouth. The show’s conception was sparked by a simple question: what’s missing from most gaming shows? The clear answer was “the gamer”. We wanted to have a forum where folks felt like they could express their opinions and not get bashed for it. Thus, Gamer Reaction was born. We have videos that run the gamut: retro, games you may have missed, video game movies, funny sketches, and so much more. Check us out on Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube as well as our site: www.GamerReaction.tv.
So make sure you check out the Gamer Reaction Chica J. GamerFitNation would like to thank Gripants for letting us into her world.
