Plan. Plan.. Plan… This is something that will creep up on you in a heartbeat. Eating healthy isn’t cheap, but if you plan, you can save some money. But more than just money, it helps you to lose weight.

We live in a fast pace world,  but we have to plan. In order to avoid fast food, and horrible food choices, writing down a menu for the week will help guide you.

Example:

Menu Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday
Breakfast Omeletw/ strawberries Grits w/ egg betters Shakeology Pancakes w/ turkey smoke sausage Shakeology
Lunch Subway sandwich Mash Potatoes w/ chicken beast Chicken salad sandwich Pasta Jambalaya Chicken Salad w/ crackers
Dinner Mash potatoes, corn w/ grilled chicken breast Red beans w/ rice Pasta jambalaya w/ French bread Grilled chicken salad Crawfish w/ potatoes and corn
Snacks Fruit cupsGrapesYogurt YogurtStrawberriesJell-O GrapesAlmond barYogurt 100 calorie cookiesStrawberriesKiwi JelloGrapesPopcorn

Smoothie

Notes: Make extra dinner for lunch tomorrow Make chicken salad Make extra Pasta Prewash fruit and put in snack bags

***Portion Control is VERY important**

 

Writing down your menu will also help when you go grocery shopping. I use to go to Wal-Mart everyday and get what I needed for dinner. That adds up! I would get what I need plus things that I saw that I might WANT!  Make a grocery list and go by it .

    This is what i did in the beginning too when i was trying to lose weight. It REALLY HELPS. Also you can try to count the calories you take in and see how and where you can improve your diet.

      Yes, Many people dont realize how many calories they take in until they write it down. This allow you to know how many more or less calories.

    Also Remember eating too few calories will make you gain weight.
