Recommendations to help extend your Gamer Life Span so you can live to see Playstation 4

Here are items that I recommend you check out in order to extend your Life Span as a Gamer. Though before doing anything suggested here, you should consult your doctor to see if some of these items are appropriate for you. From one Gamer to another, I recommend you check out these suggestions and hopefully you’ll get a kick-start in leading a healthier Gamer lifestyle.

Film: I recommend you watch this Documentary called “Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead”. It’s an inspirational film that focuses on two men whose bodies have been trashed by obesity and illness. These men decided to diet on homemade fruit and vegetable juice in order to repair their spiraling health issues. Good news for you console Gamers, the film is currently on Netflix instant watch so it’s not hard to find. As I watched the story of the men play out I found myself feeling a certain motivation to began a Juice diet. This film is perfect for a Gamer because frankly it doesn’t require you to do too much. Of course you should be more psychically active, but most unhealthy Gamers tend not to be. What I believe is that if you were to try this for 10 days, the energy and confidence you will gain would motivate you to began a Healthy Gamer Lifestyle.

Video Game: Check out this THQ game “UFC Personal Trainer“. It’s a  game that allows you to train like a MMA fighter along side professional instructors such as Muay Thai Specialist Mark Dellagrotte. We at GamerFitNation reviewed this game and gave it a perfect score. We felt that it connects the bridge between the hardcore Gamer and fitness nuts.  The game works with you so you can reach your goal properly without feeling that you can’t keep up. The best part is it’s available on all console systems. Also long as you have a Kinect, PSMove, or Wii Mote you should have no problem getting into this game.

Gear: Like to sit up close to the TV, so you can get all in a game? I recommend an “Exercise Ball” Lose the chair, couch, Little brother or whatever you decide to sit on while you game. An “Exercise Ball“ is a generally large ball filled with air and constructed out of elastic. It forces proper spine alignment, Improved balance,  roughly helping you burn up to 350 calories per day, and helps you earn a nice six-pack.  An additional tip that I can give is that you have to make sure the area you keep the ball and sit on, is free of any materials that may puncture or cause damage to the ball. Also some balls can hold up to 250lbs or more, which is good if you feel your weight is an issue. Still I suggest you read the manufacture’s label to be sure to avoid an accident.

Socially:  I recommend you find a C.S.I.M, which is  a Cycle of Support, Inspirations, and Motivation. It’s hard to find motivation when most of the people you know aren’t very motivated themselves. I’m not suggesting that you get rid of your current gaming buddies. What I’m suggesting is that you make more friends who share your healthy lifestyle goal and interest. Doing so will inspire you to continue your path keeping you from going off track. The ripple affect is that you may become the start of a C.S.I.M your Gamer friends need in order for them to find a healthy balance in their lifestyle.
