5 Characters We want in Super Smash Bros Wii U

I don’t know how many people remember, but at E3 this year Reggie Fils-Amie briefly announced that we would be getting a new Smash Bros for the Wii U. I now take it upon myself to give our list of some characters that we would love to see in the game.

This puppet from Super Mario Rpg is nothing to play with literally. He was a force to be reckoned with in the game and is one of my personal favorites to use in the game. He had special powers that allowed him to turn into a cannons or shoot off rockets from his arm. My personal favorite was the geno beam that required you to charge it holding the Y button to get the maximum effect. We haven’t seen or played anything with him since Super Mario RPG. I think it would great for people to play with him once again as he was a beloved character by many.

He’s soft, he’s fluffy, he’s a marshmallow. Not to be coy, but mallow would actually be a great character to play with in Super Smash. He may seem like a lovable marshmallow on the outside but in the inside, he is a dangerous weather making machine. When he cries it rains and when he gets angry who knows what will happen. I think battling with him and his powers to control the elements would really be a great combination into the series. There are many people who love cute lovable things, me being one of them. I think that he would be a great fit. There’s a lot of potential for his character in the game.

Omega Ridley:

I know I know, I might be reaching with Omega Ridley on this one, but frankly reaching isn’t all that bad. I think that he would make a great character in Smash Bros especially with the potential Ridley has to do a ton of aerial combos and moves. This flying creature is fierce and this is something that can bring  a new element to gamers. Ridley’s ability to shoot laser beams and grab you and/or you slam you to the ground makes me feel all warm and happy inside. Maybe its just me but I think he could work.

Dark Samus:

I may be a Samus fan, but this is one hot character that I hope you may agree with me on. Dark Samus from Metroid Prime 3 would be a great addition to cast of fighters in Smash Bros. The blue coloring of the armor and the dark ominous look would mean complete and utter destruction. If you’re wondering what her evil clone’s special move would be, I even have that planned out to. I think it would have to relate to the game, which would mean invincibility due to a Phazon overload. Her clone would of course be a special unlockable character that would be both stronger and faster than the original. I really think that would be an interesting approach.

If there was one bad guy that I wanted to play as in a video game it would be Magus. For those of you that played Chrono Trigger, you know who this is, so no need to spoil it for those that haven’t played it. If you haven’t there’s tons of ways to play this game, so go and try it out. Now as I was saying he would be a great character as he wrecked havoc in the game for you. He looks like he would also fit in nicely with his scythe and clothing as one of the fighters. His dark magic powers would also create tons of potential attacks and combos people would enjoy.

There are literally tons more of characters we could have added, but we want to see what you, our readers can come up with. Post your characters below and let’s see what happens. :-) Make it happen Nintendo!

Ughh……Ridley. Every time I see him in a list, I cringe. Ridley would work well in the game….as an assist trophy. He’s just too big to be a normal character. Did you see him in the Subspace Emissary?
