Educational Game… There’s an App for that

Technology is awesome, enough said. I was recently at dinner at Outback Steakhouse, and the table next to us had a four kids. When they sat down, I said to myself, I hope our food comes quickly.  I just knew they were going to be loud. After they put in their drink order, the four kids pulled out… iPads and iPhones.

I was sitting in awe, 1st because you have four kids, two of them had iPads and two had iPhones. (Was there a buy one get one free deal that Apple did not tell me about?) The kids starting playing their games, while Mom and Dad talked. The kids were so focused, it was amazing. Then Mom asked what game was each playing, and she made one of the children find an educational game to play, because Angry Birds is not educational.

Okay, okay, okay… I was eavesdropping, but I could help it. I was amazed. The child that had to find a new app, found Bookworm App to help his spelling.
