to be honest there are a lot of characters i could have added, Ryu, Master Chief, Dante, mega man. Its just that some of these characters are more so fighters or meatheads in my opinions that i feel represent strength as opposed to athleticism. You know I might do another article like that for those characters in the near future

It’s cool, and thanks. It’s just that any time someone brings up athleticism in gaming, I immediately think of Samus leaping thirty, forty feet in the air to grab a ledge with one hand and still have the strength to jump off that side no problem. I didn’t like Other M as a game, but it did show how fast and strong she was. And Zero Mission and Brawl she retained her speed and agility in her Zero Suit at the cost of some toughness. Cool article thus far, quite a few of these would go on my list. I’d probably also put the Master Chief down if he behaved more like he did in the novels

Samus Aran from the Metroid titles. Even without her Zero Suit, her superior conditioning and Chozo-infused DNA let her physically outclass pretty much everyone on this list.
