Keeping a strong immune system is important in our everyday lives. A strong immune system prevents us from getting sick from the germs we come across on a daily basis. In order to keep a strong immune system we need to eat foods filled with vitamins, so they can help strengthen it. Fortunately some of the foods needed don’t cost a lot or taste bad for that matter. So what are some of those foods?

Oranges
Aside from the cosmetic benefits-like preventing wrinkles, they also offer help to our immune system from all the Vitamin C! Oranges are great source of Vitamin C and are great because of their practicality; you can peel and eat, cut in slices, or drink it!

Grapefruit
Grapefruits help us better regulate our metabolism; they also help fight off germs because of the high number of Vitamin C. I know most people avoid the grapefruit because of its bitter taste, but it’s worth it when you start getting less sick.

Blueberries
Blueberries are one of my favorite fruits, not only because of their taste, but I can eat them alone or with anything-like waffles, yogurt, or mixed in a smoothie. Aside from their great taste I love how they help boost my immune system and give off Vitamin B-which is great for stress and memory.

Sweet Potato
Sweet potatoes strengthen areas of the body like our bones and teeth because of the Vitamin A they carry. Vitamin A is important because it helps with our white cells which happen to fight off the germs we come across.

Carrots
Carrots have tons of Vitamin A, so what else could I tell you about Vitamin A that I haven’t already? Well they’re good for the immune system because they work with the white blood cells, but they’re also good for our eyes-which is especially important for gamers!

So in conclusion wouldn’t it be better to just take vitamins-particularly Vitamins A and C? The important thing is to consume the vitamins, but sometimes vitamin bottles could get a bit pricey, so eating these fruits and vegetables is a great alternative for those on a budget.
