Reader Note: Here are some games that I feel should be Rebooted or Re-imagined, these are my own choices, so there is no top five or 4 in this case. Take it for what you will, Enjoy!

In a age where we get HD collections, remixes, and console reboots all in the same generation. Here are a few games that I feel should be rebooted or re-imagined. I love old school games and some of them here are old school indeed. This brings about the question however, how would they work in this modern day age of gaming.

Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks

Who remembers this PS2 game? Mortal Kombat: Shaolin monks was a great mortal kombat fighting game that was unlike the no other. You played the game as the two Shaolin monks Lu kang and Kung lao. You could play the game with two players and execute fatalities when you obtained power ups. The combat in the game was great as well, if you timed it hits correctly you could do 100 hit combos and all that awesome sauce.

Strider

Now, I have to admit first and foremost that this is one game that I missed out on in my early years. Strider was a great game I have been told. He is almost in every Marvel Vs Capcom game and I never knew why. I decided to look up some of the gameplay for his past adventures and my jaw dropped to the ground. Why hasn’t Capcom stepped up and remade this game instead of milking older franchises until they go dry.

I think that a modern day Strider would be on par, if not better than Ninja Gaiden. I really feel that if this game is rebooted or re-imagined as you would call it, would be truly great for new IP’s this generation.

Ghost and Goblins

I loved Ghosts n’ Goblins for the SNES. This was absolutely one of my favorite games. I would love to see this rebooted and re-imagined as a third person action adventure game. I feel as if done the right way, with the right production team and creative minds to provide innovation in the game this is very possible. I can see this going into a great direction. I mean it took us awhile but, we got finally got a good Castlevania game, am I right? I don’t see what’s the problem with turning Ghosts n’ Goblins into a third person action game, do you?

Conker

Rememeber that old Nintendo 64/ Xbox game  Conker: Bad Fur Day from Rare. Do you remember how epic and enjoyable it was at time? Well, I personally think that this game should be rebooted. Not an HD remix, but a re-imagining of everyone’s favorite squirrel. This is one game that I think would be easy to do without changing to much of the story. This would make it so fans wouldn’t be upset, because as we all know how vocals gamers can be about reboots, just  take a look at the DMC reboot. I would love to see Conker again because he would curse you out and make you laugh all at the same time. There was also tons of action and a rather enjoyable story to boot.

Well those are the games I wouldn’t mind to be rebooted or re-imagined. Are there any titles that you feel should take a fresh new dip into this new generation of gaming.
