The Hauppauge HD PVR Gaming Edition is a product that all gamers should get if you want to record crisp, clear, and sound videos. Pros

• Easy Installation that even a caveman could do, fool proof instructions that no matter who is setting up the device it shows you step by step.
• The device can record in 720p or 1080i and uploading to youtube can be done by the video editing software install on the disc that comes with the unit.
• Component cables so that you can record footage for your Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, and other consoles.

Cons

• Lots of wires that can get tangled up easily and look messy in an entertainment system.
• The lightweight design is good but it brings about questions to me about the products durability.
• Video editing software isn’t the greatest but it does get what you need it to get done.

Final Thoughts:

Lastly, although the gaming edition might cost $199.99 it is well worth the cost of this great product. Recording and uploading videos to YouTube has never been so easy. The display and installation of this device also makes it a highly recommendable product. If you are thinking about recording gameplay pick this up.
