Ubisoft announced today that the Rock Hits 2 DLC pack is now available for download for Rocksmith. The songs included in this pack are Cousins by Vampire Weekend, 20th Century Boy by T. Rex and I Hate Everything About You by Three Days Grace. Each song will be available for individual purchase for $2.99 on the Playstation network or for 240 Microsoft points on Xbox Live. New music packs will continue to be released on a regular basis. Rocksmith is the first and only video game that allows players to plug in any real guitar into an Xbox 360®, PlayStation®3 to play a sizeable library of songs from the latest hits to classic rock songs. Rocksmith adapts to the player’s skill level from novices who have never picked up a guitar to the most experienced shredder.

i think it’s pretty fair to pay $3 considering the average cost of music sheets!!

$3 definately worth the price for a song. And as for the people that say this game will not actually teach you to play the guitar because until you get to the master level your just playing parts of a song and different parts every time due to the adaptive difficulty. This is true it won’t really teach you to play the full songs. I’ve been a beginner guitar player for a while, and I’ve as far as fret work, chord changing and picking I’ve gone farther in the past couple of weeks playing this game than I have in months of trying to do it on my own. The game will force you to learn where the frets and strings are without looking at them. And if you do want to learn the song, the game does provide you with a very good base, and just look up the tabliture for the rest. And plus, the game is just fun. Two thumbs up from me.

Rock smith is awesome it really does let you play the full song if you know how to use it correctly. Progress through the Leveler until you can play all the notes then go to rehearsal and play play play just when you screw up select restart and start from the beginning.
