Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Has Me Excited, Here’s Why

Are you prepared to be buried in an engrossing storyline with several hours of gameplay to fall back on? If you’re not ready for that than you should be, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning will be releasing on February 7th and if you haven’t gotten a chance to check out any game footage yet than I highly suggest that you do so. Who better to bring this to your attention than yours truly?

The well of souls is main focus for the story in this title. If you didn’t know already, the story is being created by  Ken Rolston. Most know for the elder scrolls series. The man who gave us the hero Spawn, who happens to be one of my favorite heroes created the artwork. The story appears to be very dark, intriguing, and entertaining all in one. It’s not like your typical RPG nowadays where you have a couple of hours of gameplay and a rather bland uninteresting story. This one actually has some depth to it unlike the other linear RPGs

The gameplay in kingdom of Amalur is going to be great. There really are so many things that you can do from the impressive combat to side quests included in the game. There are a ton of things in terms of skills and crafting new items for you characters to use. The characters in the game are going to be some of the quirkiest ones that you will have ever seen in a while. There are a ton of factions in the game that you will interact with on a daily basis as you go through your quest. It’s going to provide for a refreshing experience.

The pre-order bonuses for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is actually pretty acceptable if you ask me. If you didn’t know preordering the game via amazon nets you some very cool in game items. Amazon is actually offering a few packs that will help you out in the game. The Ultimate Treasure Hunter Pack and the Fate Touched Weapons Pack. Each of these packs helps you out within your quests.

Finally, I personally think that this game is something that you should definitely look at getting even if you’re not into RPG’s, but you have a love for a good story. The game is coming out very soon, so you better be poised to me a decision very quickly. If you’re still on the fence however, you won’t have to fear as a demo for the game will be released very soon. Well to wrap it up, you can expect great gameplay, an epic story, and a ton of side-quests to keep you playing this game forever.

Well? What’s your opinion on Kingdom of Amalur? Is this a title that you are looking very forward to or is it something that you should pass by? Let us know! If you need some help watch the video posted below!

    Just to clarify things:
Ken Rolston, the lead designer of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, acts as the game’s executive designer. Additionally, noted fantasy author R.A. Salvatore created the game universe, story and lore, with Todd McFarlane, creator of Spawn, working on the artwork. Also,
38 Studios is owned by former Red Sox Pitcher, Curt Schilling.

Curt Schilling is the best. Loving the 38 studios for sure. I can’t wait to see the designing of the game by Rolston. I have yet to play the demo which I believe came out January 18th, I just don’t want to ruin the experience of Salvatore, just amazing.

Never thought that RPG’s are my type of game, but since Skyrim & Mass Effect prove me so wrong, I’m extra excited on the story because it will be epic and so many quest. I’am definetly looking forward to this, plus GameStop seems to have the best pre-order bonus with the destinies choice pack as well as the Fate Touched Weapons Pack. Thanks for the Article.
