Have you ever worked out in shoes that was too little or too tight? I have and that is painful to say the least. Having the right shoes on during workouts are very important. For the longest, I paid attention to people’s shoes while I worked out. I had never worn Nike so I wanted to know if they were better than the Reeboks that I was buying. I wanted to know if New Balance and Adidas would be better, or if the brand even mattered.
I wish stores would let you buy shoes and try them out for two weeks and if you didn’t like them you could trade them in for another kind. That would let me test every shoe that I wanted to find the best one for me. Since that is not the case, I have to do my research online and do the one minute walk around the store to see if I like them.
Here are some tips from LiveStrong..com to help you find the right shoe:
I finally found the perfect pair of shoes for me, and I was excited to try out Nike for the first time. Also remember if you are a somewhat active person, you should replace your shoes a couple times a year. If you are an avid runner or walker, you should replace your shoes every 3-4 months. If you are training for triathlon or marathons, you should replace your shoes every 2-3 months. I honestly hate replacing shoes after I have found that perfect pair, but shoes get worn out just like tires. So we have to protect our feet so that we can keep going.
Have a wonderful day gamers!
