Ahh Choo! Excuse me. The weather is changing, flowers are blooming, and pollen is in the air. These airborne allergies can cause sneezing and stuffy nose.

Playing outside on the playground or in the backyard can be so much fun, but not when pollen is around. Sneezing is no fun when you want to have fun. Help your children out by taking a few simple steps when the pollen count is high.  Make sure the windows are closed to keep the pollen out of your house. It amazing how quickly the pollen can find its way into your house.  Since the windows are close and we all need a little bit of circulations in the house. Running the air conditioner will help to reduce the pollen exposure to your child.  I know they are going to hate this next one, but it is very important. Keep them inside on days when pollen count is high. No playing outside,  raking leaves ,or mowing the yard. Wonderful day to just get moving inside playing a video game.  Last but not least, wash rugs and bed sheets.

We will never be able to get away from pollen, but we can at least try and keep it away. These few things will help.  This past two weeks here, in Louisiana, have been horrible with the pollen. After every photo shoot I do outside, I have to be ready with some medicine. That is no fun, but I love what I do. Keep you and your children safe this spring.
