In case you have been living under a rock the past couple of days we have some great news for all of you MMO and Elder Scrolls fans out there. The internet was sent ablaze yesterday, when it was announced that The Elder Scrolls would be getting a new title that was coming exclusively for the PC and Mac next year titled The Elder Scrolls Online. The game is being featured on the cover of major magazines such as Gameinformer.

If you are looking for information keep your fingers crossed as GamerFitNation will be at E3 and will be all over this title. Until then here is some info straight from the Bethseda’s mouth.

“We have been working hard to create an online world in which players will be able to experience the epic Elder Scrolls universe with their friends, something fans have long said they wanted,” said Matt Firor, game director of The Elder Scrolls Online. “It will be extremely rewarding finally to unveil what we have been developing the last several years. The entire team is committed to creating the best MMO ever made – and one that is worthy of The Elder Scrolls franchise.”

If you are wondering when you will get your hands on this title, I can tell you that you won’t be seeing it this year to say the least. Expect the game to come out sometime in 2013, a time frame has not been specified at this time. Well there you have it, a great bomb has been dropped I hope you are still alive.
