What to Expect from Pro Evolution Soccer 13?

For now all there is, is a trailer. By the looks of it, it’s more than likely that Cristiano Ronaldo will be sporting the cover for PES 13 for a third time. Konami recently released images, and a trailer where Cristiano Ronaldo’s seen running and controlling the ball in front of his virtual PES version. So, what are some of the features that you can expect to see in PES 13 and features that I’m looking forward to?

Dynamic First Touch
This feature has everything to do with the way gamers receive, tap, and trap the ball. This makes it easier to change ball speed and have better control of the ball.

Full Manual Shooting/Passing
Now you the gamer have control of the power and height of your shots and passes!

Players will have better control of their speed and movement. Players will also be able to either protect the ball as they wait for a teammate to get the ball, or nutmeg opponents and let’s be honest, who doesn’t like pulling a fancy move on the opposition?

Full Manual One-Two
This won’t be your basic one-two pass. Players can do the one-two pass at any direction, opening your range of tactics!

Redeveloped Keepers

PES keepers will be better! I’m especially excited for this because PES goalkeepers often let the simplest shots get past them for a goal. Don’t get me wrong, I love scoring tons of goals in a match, but I also don’t like receiving goals that could have been easily preventable by a simple save.

Response Defending
This is supposed to make defending more strategic, whether it be on ground or aerial. You can time challenges with better precision, and we know what that leads to… counter attacks! So yes, I can’t wait try that out because winning games doesn’t just come from pure offensive play.

Player Individuality
Superstar players will have their style fully customized in PES to make sure your football/soccer gaming experience are as real as possible,as seen on the trailer. Everything from how they run, to how they receive the ball, and shoot will be featured on superstar players (such as Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo). This feature will not be just for the average field players though, goalkeepers will be getting this exclusive treatment as well!
