Assassins Creed will soon be playable on the PS Vita, but not as Altair. Assassin’s Creed: Liberation will be exclusive for the PS Vita, and will have you taking on the role of the very first female assassin in the AC franchise named Aveline. AC: Liberation takes place during 1765 in New Orleans as Aveline sets out to fight for her land against Spanish forces. Her journey for liberation will take her everywhere from the streets of New Orleans, voodoo haunted swamps, and ancient Mayan ruins!
AC: Liberation was made in a way that would nicely use the PS Vita’s touch pad, motion sensor, and camera. Gamers will be able to do slow motion chain kills, pick pocket, and chase enemies in canoes.
I was lucky enough to view a demonstration of the game at E3 2012 and was amazed by the gameplay. You’d think the game would lag because it’s a handheld game, but no, the gameplay was as smooth as you’d see from a larger console like the PS3 or Xbox 360. The game looks to be promising and enjoyable; overall I got a good impression and can’t wait for AC: Liberation to be released. Assassin’s Creed: Liberation is be expected for release October 30, 2012. For those who don’t have a PS Vita yet, there will be a bundle including a white PS Vita, including a 4GB memory card , and the Assassin’s Creed: Liberation game.
