Rumor: First Party Wii U games to Cost 100 Bucks?
by Gregory Laporte Editor Vice President on June 20, 2012 at 07:14 PM EDT

It appears that either Amazon or maybe Nintendo themselves might have lost their minds. After scrolling around the Wii U store on Amazon I noticed the startingly revelation that first party Wii U games were retailing for 100 bucks on the retailer’s website. Whether this is just a place holder or the truth we may find out shortly or later this year. Could this new pricing be a new strategy by Nintendo to sell their titles at a higher price? Do you think this is a major goof by Amazon or has Nintendo set a precedence with a higher price for software in next generation of gaming consoles. I’ll try to find out more as this story develops. Click the links below for the pricing on the following titles Pikmin 3, New Super Mario Bros U, and Nintendo Land.
