Here comes exciting news for any Transformers fanatic. It seems that Activision is working on the sequel to the War for Cybertron game made a few years back. War for Cybertron was a fun game that included many of the popular characters and crazy looking graphics. The game had a great deal of potential but just wasn’t cutting it for most fans. The public demanded a sequel to get more in-depth with not only story of the Autobots versus Decepticons, but gameplay as well. So, Activition is proud to announce their new sequel title for War for Cybertron, Transformers: The Fall of Cybertron.
For those of you who don’t already know, the Autobots and the Decepticons have an everlasting war on the planet they live on, which is named Cybertron, should be run. The Fall of Cybertron takes place on the planet itself where the last game left off. At this point the Autobots have lost the war for Cybertron. They are outnumbered by the Decepticons and most of their team has been injured. The Autobots need to protect and finish building their arc, a savor-like ship so they can find a new planet to live on. Much is expected from this game, so let us move on to what everyone wants to know…
Confirmed Characters: Jazz: Car Autobot Cliffjumper: Car Autobot Bumblebee: Car Autobot Votrex: Helicopter Deceptcon Starscream: Jet DecepticonWhat may be the most amazing part of this sequel is probably the ability to customize, yes thats right, CUSTOMIZE your own Autobot or Decepticon to play in game. There are thousands and thousands of possibilities you can come up with to make your robot unique to your liking. From switching the weapons your robot holds to what color paint it wears, your Autobot or Decepticon will be one of a kind. I think this is really where a lot of fans will be spending most of their time during the game. This is something all fans young and old have been wanting since they got into the franchise. Who wouldn’t want to make their own giant, destructive, transforming robot that they can run around with and reap havoc? I know I would.
Transformers: The Fall of Cybortron hits stores on August 28, 2012 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
