Bellator MMA Onslaught is based on the popular Bellator MMA fights televised on Spike TV. In Bellator MMA Onslaught you take on the role of an MMA fighter.

Bellator MMA Onslaught is fast paced like Street Fighter and tactical like Fight Night Champion. Gamers can’t base their wins off rapidly hitting buttons, they have to strategize and use the right moves at the right time. Too many swings at your opponent and you lose stamina; losing stamina makes your fighter vulnerable and easy to knockout. But this is MMA fighting, knockouts aren’t the only way to win.

In Bellator MMA Onslaught you have four ways to win. You could win by way of “Knockout” by reducing your opponent’s health bar to zero. Gamers could also win with “Flash K.O.” by landing a critical strike while your opponent is flashing. Of course you could also win by successfully finishing a submission. Finally, the last way of winning is by decision, winning by decision is based on the fighter’s performance of each round.

Bellator MMA Onslaught lets gamers create up to four fighters. Your fighter can be customized from everything including their face, body type, hair styles, gloves, and tattoos. After giving your fighter their look you could then customize your fighter’s fighting style. Gamers get to choose between four different fighting styles which are MMA, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and kick boxing! Using your fighter in “Championship Road” will help your fighter gain XP and unlock new moves.

Customizing fighters is not all you could customize in Bellator MMA Onslaught. Gamers could change the number of rounds in a fight, the time each round lasts, and the difficulty. There are six arenas gamers could fight in, they range anywhere from an outdoor mall to the Bellator Finals Arena!

Bellator: MMA Onslaught is and feels like an arcade game, so you can expect sharp and rapid moves. The game has no lag, making the game true to its quick intended nature. The controls are simple and quick to pick up on so you could jump right into the fun!

The graphics are well suited for Bellator: MMA Onslaught because they’re neither too realistic nor 64-bit looking. The graphics go with the game’s arcade/realistic theme.

Overall Impression:
As a gamer and a fight fan, I love this game! Bellator MMA Onslaught allows gamers to have fun, while simulating the strategic mentality of a fighter. Creating your fighter and building his stats is incredibly fun-especially in the beginning when you really have to be strategic because of your fighter’s low stats.

Final Score:
I give Bellaror: MMA Onslaught a 10 out of 10.
