Celebrate health, fitness, and dancing with Dancetopia, GamerFitNation’s first annual free community event, in Harlem, New York City on July 21st, 2012.
New York, NY July 1, 2012 — Are you interested in spending the summer time with your family, in a way that’s both fun and good for your health? Well, GamerFitNation has a perfect solution to your concerns. Today, GamerFitNation, a video gaming and healthy lifestyle media outlet, is proud to announce their first community event, Dancetopia 2012.
Dancetopia will be an annual free event to help promote health & fitness awareness through video gaming with a series of the most popular dance and fitness video games to get the people moving towards a healthy lifestyle.
As Antwand Pearman, CEO and Editor in Chief declared, “Getting in shape is a difficult— and sometimes boring task— to overcome. But Dancetopia helps shift away that dull feeling and involves the whole community to have fun together, while shedding a few pounds as well. Dancetopia is our way to introduce Dance Games that promote both fun and fitness to our local community.”
Dancetopia 2012 is open to all ages, family, and friends of New York City, and will take place on Saturday, July 21st, 2012. The event will feature Microsoft Xbox 360 Kinect stations on multiple Vizio TV displays to play the latest dance hit games such as Dance Central 2, Just Dance series, and Zumba fitness. There will also be free giveaways for attendees to enjoy.
