
On July 20, Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ releases The Dark Night Rises which concludes filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy.
Eight years have passed since Batman, once the hero of Gotham, now turned fugitive has disappeared into the night. Blamed for the death of Harvey Dent, The Dark Night sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both thought was for the best for Gotham City. The lie worked, but only for a brief time as Gotham City reduced on criminal activity under the anti-crime Dent Act.
But criminal activity will rise again with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar. More dangerous is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist who plans for Gotham who adamantly plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-made exile. Even if Batman decides to come back as the protector of Gotham, he may not have what it takes to put a stop on Bane.
The Dark Knight Rises will be in theaters July 20, 2012 make sure you mark your calendars.
