According to a recent press release, Dungeon Defenders is now available for download on Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360 video and entertainment system from Microsoft, Playstation Network, and Steam. The announcement came from Trendy Entertainment, D3Publisher and Reverb Publishing. In a fully 3D environment, Dungeon Defense brings together some of the best elements of tower-defense and action-RPG progression. Players can join forces with up to four friends and combat mayhem across 15 unique maps – 30 challenges, four difficulty settings.

In the game, the players control one of four heroes – Squire, Apprentice, Huntress and Monk – to fight an ancient evil. Each character comes with their own, distinct characteristics, and each player can customize and create an armory of weapons and equipment. Whether playing with friends or solo, the campaign has tons of gameplay with hundred of loot drops (all upgradeable and customizable) to make each character more unique.

This one dungeon players will not want to leave due to the drop-in/drop-out four-player online or off with tons of gameplay modes and beautiful visuals. Character progression will enthrall both tower defense fans and RPG nuts alike.

Additionally, the PlayStation Network version provides full 3D technology and PlayStation Move controller support, according to the press release.
