
EA has released the line-up of players that will be featured on EA Sports FIFA Soccer 13. FIFA Soccer 13 is the winner of the prestigious E3 Game Critics award for “Best Sports Game.” To no surprise the winner of the “Best Sports Game” will be featuring the best footballers in the world on the cover of FIFA Soccer 13. The top player in the world, Lionel Messi, will be the global featured player; Messi will be joined along with nine other top players from different parts of the world. FIFA Soccer 13 launches September 25 in North America and September 28 worldwide.
“FIFA Soccer 13 will launch with the world’s best and most exciting player, Lionel Messi, on the cover all over the world, which is a perfect way to herald the launch of the best soccer game we have ever developed,” said Matt Bilbey, Senior Vice President and GM of Football, EA SPORTS. “FIFA Soccer 13 will deliver a game as unpredictable as Messi, and an experience that is completely connected to the heartbeat of the season.”
New Features
EA SPORTS Football Club Match Day allows FIFA Soccer 13 and to keep up with the latest news from the world’s top leagues. Injuries, suspensions, team form, and media gossip will all be part of the commentary featured in the game. The improvements on First Touch Control and the Player Impact Engine will revolutionize the way soccer is played in video games, making it more realistic and enjoyable for both offensive and defensive players. Features like Complete Dribbling and Attacking Intelligence will give gamers more freedom to create plays off the spot, as Messi would on the pitch. Being the largest social network of footballers, FIFA Soccer 13 will also feature the largest gaming tournament in the world, the FIFA Interactive World Cup, where fans are given the chance to prove themselves as the best interactive footballer in the world, and claim the title of being a true FIFA World Champion.
The FIFA Soccer 13 demo for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC will launch around the world on September 11.
