Square Enix has revealed new screen shots and artwork of their new characters for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. The concept art introduces fans to the Elezan, Lalafell, and Roegadyn races, as well as new areas and monsters. The screenshots show fans gameplay elements which include battle, UI, and landmarks.

Elezen

The Elezen race are a tall people, long of limb and with a slender build. At one time the Elezen claimed sole dominion over Eorzea, they developed a heightened sense of honor and pride. In the past, the Hyur migration into Elezen lands created conflict. However, the two races currently have a mutual understanding between each other that has the two now working towards a better future.

Lalfell

The Lalafell race are small and have childlike faces, which makes it hard to guess their age. They are welcoming to outsides and share prosperous relations with all of the other races of Eorzea.

Roegadyn

It’s easy to identify the Roegadyns because of their large, muscular frames. They’re often considered a barbaric race, but the intensely competitive Roegadyn are also known to be compassionate and loyal. Many great warriors from the past were born of Roegadyn stock.
