Star Trek Game Information From Gamescon

During Gamescon, there was new information about the new Star Trek game set in the reboot time line of the J.J. Abrams film.  The game will feature a co-op game play where the players can either play as Spook or Kirk.  The game play will vary based on who you choose to play as.   The game will not be based on the movie and will have its very own stand alone story.  The cast from the movie will however be giving there voices to the characters in the game.

The story will be based around the old enemy the Gorn.  This time they are a re-imagined foe from the original series.  The game will feature pieces of the universe as well as game play that high lights that action of Star Trek.  The game will be launching in early 2013 on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and the PC.

During Gamescon screen shots were released and are right below.  They feature the two characters Kirk and Spook as well as the Gorn.
