Ubisoft and ESPN announced their collaboration to develop content for ESPN Sports Connection T, which is the next-generation of multi-sports games. Ubisoft Barcelona developed ESPN Sports Connection. This will be the first collaboration between Ubisoft and ESPN, according to a recent press release.

ESPN Sports Connection will change the way play some of you favorites sports including soccer, football, baseball, tennis, golf and go-karting. From using the innovative Nintendo Wii U GamePad to control the blitz in football to transforming your living room into a golf course and scanning with the GamePad to get a 360-degree view of each hole, players will feel that they are part of every game they play.

Friends and family will be able to challenge each other with the co-op and multiplayer modes. The game will support up to five players using the GamePad. Also included in the game are a variety of mini-games including Tennis Cannon Ball, a challenging shooting and hitting game that challenges your quick reflexes.

Players will be able to customize their own avatars with ESPN-branded gear to distinguish from the other players. To mark their progress through the game, players will be able to unlock special ESPN-branded gear. ESPN logos include ESPN, ESPNU, ESPN Classic, SportsNation, ESPNFC, and more. Additional in-game content from ESPN includes contextual background banners and music, according to the press release.

ESPN Sports Connection is ESPN’s first console game targeting the casual games category, and marks ESPN’s debut in the casual multi-sport gaming space.

ESPN Sports Connection will be available at retailers in North America this holiday season.
