Joe Danger 2: the Movie is a fun game to play. It is a nice change of pace from the bigger triple-A title games, just because of its simplicity. The story is very easy to follow, and the art style is also something that is going in the games favor. The art style is also very fun, it has brighter colors and bigger explosions that other games. The simplicity of the game is what makes this game so good.

The story is clear-cut, unlike some games that have complex story lines. There is one story line. The main character is trying to become the best stunt man in Hollywood. This simple story allows for two things; first, it allows the game to be picked up and played, and it allows for kids to pick the game up and play it.

The art style is directed more towards a younger audience.  Everything about the game is bigger, and the explosions and the colors are more dramatic than other games. The other great way that the art style would appeal to kids is that there is a lot going on. This leads the game to have a more relaxed style. Having a relaxed game can be such a change from the more challenging games that can be very tense.

Joe Danger 2

The game play is a pleasant change of pace as well.  You play a stunt man who is on a track, and all you have to do is survive.  A few things trip the player up, such as the bomb from the other computer as it rides down the track with you.  The other simple thing about the game is the controls. The player has been given a tilt, a boost, a trick and a jump button. While this is very effortless and you can do a lot with it, you don’t have too. This simplicity, where there are few mechanics and few controls, is such a change from the big games that can be very complex.

This game would be great for kids, the simple story allows for even the youngest kids to understand. The art style is something that would appeal to kids, because the style is slightly hectic and many kids would probably love it. If you are looking for a game for your kids to play, this is a great choice.

Final Thoughts:

Joe Danger 2: The Movie is a good for adults. The graphics are so different from a big budget game that it is refreshing.  The game play is so simple that it too, is an amazing change of pace. Overall, the game is good, and a great change of pace.

  • Simple controls
  • Fun Art Style
  • Fun for the kids

  • Story could be too simple for some people

Final Score:

Joe Danger 2: The Movie gets an 8 out of 10.
