Who Won this year’s FIFA Interactive World Cup?

From the streets, to the highest of stages like Old Trafford, and to the very comfort of our homes, people love playing soccer . The FIFA organization hosts some of greatest football-soccer from around the globe, and thanks to EA Sports’ FIFA Soccer video game franchise and their FIFA Interactive World Cup Champions; fans can take part in the competitiveness of the sport from home.

Participating in this year’s FIFA Interactive World Cup in Vancouver were previous FIWC winners, Alfonso Ramos of Spain, Francisco Cruz of Portugal, Nenad Stojkovic of the US, and Bruce Grannec from France. The participants got to try out FIFA 13 before the tournament, giving them a chance to get familiar with the teams they’d be using, and making changes on the teams such as formations.

Round 1
First up in the tournament was Nenad Stojkovic (Manchester United) against Francisco Cruz (Barcelona) and Alfonso Ramos (Real Madrid) against Bruce Grannec (Barcelona). The first game results were in favor of Grannec in a 3-1 victory and Stojkovic with a 2-1 win.

Round 2
The next fixtures were Ramos (Spain) versus Stojkovic (Manchester United) and Cruz (Manchester City) versus Grannec (Barcelona). Grannec and Stojkovic went off to win their second matches in the tournament.

Round 3
The final stage matches were Ramos (Spain) versus Cruz (Manchester City), and the two undefeated players Stojkovic (Barcelona) and Grannec (Barcelona). After three matches, Bruce Grannec remained undefeated with a 3-0 win over Nenad Stojkovic while Alfonso Ramos got a victory over Francisco Cruz that would take him to the final of the FIWC Champions Cup tournament.

The Final
Grannec would find himself against the defending champion Ramos in a rematch for the FIWC. After an intense match, Grannec would remain undefeated and become the new FIWC Champion of Champion trophy!
