The Future of the Playstation Network

GamerFitNation’s Antwand “BlackBible” Pearman recently had a chance to meet up with Greg B. of the Sony Network Division to talk about the changes to the Sony Entertainment Network. In the interview, they discussed some of the changes that will be taking place in the store. First, Sony is integrating the movies and games together in the store, making it easier to navigate the store and to get to what you want faster.

The bigger news that came from the interview is the integration of Crackle with the store. Crackle is Sony’s movie streaming service which allows customers to stream movies for free, though it does include advertisements. It has been integrated into the store, so if you are looking for a movie and see that it’s available on the store, you can check from there to see whether it’s available for free streaming on Crackle. Also, you can view movies on Crackle through PlayStation Home—a very nice feature.

If you want more details about the Crackle integration, the changes being made to the store, and even a glimpse for what is in store for the future of the network; check out the video below.
