Are You Drinking Enough Water? [Challenge]
You’re probably not drinking enough water. No, the watered-down latte you had this morning or your homemade soda at night doesn’t count. Even if you find yourself going through a few cups a day at the water cooler, you still may be falling short. How much water is enough? Let’s look at some stats, then see how we can get on the right track!
Gamers aren’t known to have the healthiest lifestyles. Although that’s changing, we tend to hydrate ourselves by guzzling beverages that are rich in flavor or ones that will keep us awake for a few more hours. Soda tops the list of most consumed beverages by Americans; 44.7 gallons consumed per person, per year. That’s far more than the amount of water we consume (28.3 gallons). That, my friends, is not good.
Water is our body’s main ingredient, so we should be drinking plenty of it. It aids in circulation, plays a vital role in flushing waste, and allows our muscles to remain strong while functioning properly. Quite frankly, if we don’t drink enough water, we will die.
So, how much water is enough water, when are we finally hydrated, and HOW AM I GOING TO CHALLENGE YOU?! Check out the video above or below:
